Weathered and worn

1880

One of the first stops on our list was this iconic, weathered old barn (or out building) with its birth year emblazoned on the slate roof. After grabbing a couple of the obvious compositions, I walked around looking for something a little more unique. I positioned myself kist off the road, downhill from the barn, zoomed in a bit and opened up to f2.8 to soften the foreground grass.

While I am sure this view is not as unique as want to think it is, I am very happy with it.
